To lead a focused, achievable and digitally empowered education model for rural Africa. That is the mission of the Good Work Foundation – a registered NGO that has been working with grassroots education in Africa since 2003.
Our intrepid leader is a trustee of the Good Work Foundation which seeks to uplift rural communities through access to world class education, and to produce a new generation of social entrepreneurs in Africa. Watch the videos below to see what the GWF is all about!
There is so much untapped potential in the rural areas of South Africa and the GWF is seeking to harness that potential with innovative and pioneering solutions. Rhino Africa is proud to be associated with the GWF, ensuring that the world sees the amazing work that is being done.
The GWF was conceived entirely from tourism revenue. What started out as a small project trying to make a difference to the grass roots education in rural Africa is now expanding nationally and has achieved incredible support from international corporations such as Microsoft, T-Systems and Vodafone.
Through tourism, we can create a better future for Africa. We want to share the wonders this continent with our clients while at the same time uplifting local communities and conserving our precious wildlife.
